Rocky Mountain Christian Academy

RMCA is a private Christian school serving students (preschool through high school) in Niwot, Colorado, and is a place where education is an atmosphere, a discipline, and a life. Since our founding in 1998, our mission has been to equip and inspire students and families for the lifelong and passionate pursuit of truth, goodness, and beauty and to impact their world for Christ. Through our application of Christian education philosophy and principles, we offer families in the greater Denver and Boulder areas a community for them to mature and grow together.

Ambleside Schools International

RMCA joined Ambleside Schools International (ASI) in 2014. RMCA is a member of Ambleside Schools International (ASI), the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and is accredited through Accreditation International (AI).

RMCA’s association with Ambleside Schools International (ASI) provides a comprehensive and distinctly Christian approach that engages each child via a whole-person education. ASI recognizes the importance of virtue and habit development alongside academic growth fueled by living ideas. In addition, ASI equips teachers to learn and teach together within a unified learning community. Alongside ASI, RMCA provides many opportunities for parents and families to grow together in their enjoyment of lifelong learning.

At our RMCA Ambleside school, our educators:

are committed to helping families flourish
are passionate about helping children grow academically, spiritually, and in character
collaborate to foster a community with excellent academics, healthy God-honoring relationships, and an atmosphere of joy, peace, and respect, and, ultimately, a workplace full of purpose, hard work, and enjoyment
maintain an active, personal faith in Jesus Christ
desire to live out their faith and disciple students to do so as well
love reading great books
enjoy nature, literature, and many other subjects
delight in introducing the good, true, and beautiful
humbly receives feedback and is a lifelong learner

We are convinced the best way to help students flourish is to implement Charlotte Mason’s philosophy and the Ambleside Method. Thus, Ambleside teachers willingly become Charlotte Mason’s students and consistently and faithfully implement her method. They eagerly seek to increase their expertise by reading, discussing, practicing, and attending Ambleside’s educational training.
